MBA Executive Member

For women who have earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from an accredited institution and are actively leading, managing, or building impact in corporate, entrepreneurial, or executive-level roles. 


 

This tier is designed for women actively operating in leadership, executive, entrepreneurial, or advanced professional roles. Members represent experienced professionals committed to strategic impact and business excellence.

MBA Candidate Member

For women currently in the final year of an accredited Master of Business Administration (MBA) program who are preparing to transition into professional, corporate, or executive-level careers upon graduation. 


 

This tier is designed for emerging professionals preparing to transition into executive-level roles upon graduation. Members are focused on leadership development, career advancement, and professional positioning.
 

Membership Requirements

 Membership in MBA Women of Houston is reserved for a highly selective community of MBA-educated women and emerging MBA professionals who demonstrate academic achievement, leadership potential, and professional excellence.  Admission is granted through a structured review process to ensure alignment with the standards and mission of the organization. 

 

MBA Women of Houston maintains a selective admissions process to preserve the integrity, quality, and professional caliber of its network. Applicants are evaluated based on academic standing, professional experience, and alignment with organizational values. Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance into the organization.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements:


  • Self-identify as a woman 
  • Hold a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from an accredited institution, or 
  • Be in the final year of an accredited Master of Business Administration (MBA) program in good academic standing

Professional Criteria

In addition to academic qualification, applicants should demonstrate a commitment to professional growth and leadership development, including one or more of the following:


  • Active engagement in corporate, entrepreneurial, nonprofit, or executive-level environments 
  • Clear trajectory toward leadership, management, or advanced professional roles 
  • Intentional pursuit of long-term career advancement and industry impact

Membership Investment

Membership requires an annual investment that supports curated programming, executive networking events, leadership development opportunities, and the overall operations of MBA Women of Houston.


MBA Executive Member: $250 annually


MBA Candidate Member: $150 annually
